Scam Alert DO NOT BE DECEIVED
You may have recently received an email that appeared to come from E-Wigs.com, but was actually sent by a scammer attempting to trick you into clicking a malware link. This type of scam is referred to as ‘phishing. Several of our customers have alerted us that they received a fraudulent E-Wigs email promising a gift certificate for $1,000.00 in merchandise. Needless to say, no company could stay in business making such an offer.
The emails from noreply@e-wigs.com are not legitimate.
Do not click links in emails whose return address is noreply@e-wigs.com.
These links are intended to infect your computer with malware.
